"The dialogue between client and architect is about as intimate as any conversation you can have, because when you're talking about building a house, you're talking about dreams."

- Robert A.M. Stern

Initial Design Q & A Session

This initial design meeting will help to narrow down the “essentials” in your proposed design. The goal is to maximize the design dollar, get the “biggest bang” for your buck.  We will discuss the priorities (“must haves”) for your design and also create a sort of “wish list” of those items you would like to have in your design but are unsure as to whether or not your budget will allow their inclusion. This Q & A session is an opportunity for you to present your design ideas, whether from a magazine, a website or even something in your own imagination. This session often employs the use of listing, sketching, brain-storming and, sometimes, just walking the site while discussing your overall design intent to get a "feel" for the desired design aesthetic for which you are looking.
